Disney’s A Christmas Carol Due On Blu Ray

The Walt Disney Company announced today that the release date for the Robert Zemickis directed computer animated flop of Christmas 2009 — Dicken’s A Christmas Carol — will be on Blu Ray on November 16th, 2010.

The highly anticipated movie opened to large fanfare in London on November 6th, 2009, making a later-than-normal introduction to home video due to the seasonal content of the offering. Starring Jim Carrey in several roles, A Christmas Carol was praised for stunning 3-D technology but panned for exploiting the heartfelt tale to take Scrooge on wild roller-coaster type rides in an effort to sell spin-off video games.
